Visvesvaraya Engineering R&D Scheme in honor of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (1861–1962), one of India’s greatest engineers, scholars, and statesmen. Celebrated as the Father of Modern Engineering in India, Sir M. Visvesvaraya’s contributions to infrastructure, industrialization, and applied research have left an indelible mark on the nation’s development. 

This scheme is a tribute to his legacy, aiming to empower engineering professionals, researchers, and academicians with advanced skills in research methodology, statistical analysis, and interdisciplinary applications of engineering research.
