Research Internship Programme
Long-Term Research Internship Programme (3–6 Months)
The Long-Term Research Internship at the Institute of Applied Statistics (IASDCS) is a structured 3–6 month programme designed for UG/PG students and young researchers who want to build a strong foundation in research methodology, biostatistics, AI tools, and scientific writing.
This programme goes beyond short-term training by allowing students to undertake real projects, systematic reviews, or data analysis studies under expert guidance, with the potential for conference presentations and journal publications.
Objectives:
1. To provide in-depth training in research design, methodology, and ethics.
2. To develop advanced skills in biostatistics, AI/ML, and data analysis.
3. To train students in systematic review, meta-analysis, and evidence synthesis.
4. To build scientific writing, thesis, and publication-ready manuscripts.
5. To mentor students for career progression in academia, research, or industry.
Duration & Mode:
➥ Duration: 3 months (Foundation Research Internship) OR 6 months (Advanced Research Internship)
➥ Mode: Online / Offline / Hybrid
➥ Commitment: 8–10 hours per week (flexible for students)
Deliverables:
➥ Certificate of Completion (3 months) or Advanced Certificate (6 months)
➥ Mini/Full Research Project Report
➥ Publication Mentorship (for high-quality projects)
Eligibility:
➥ UG (final year) & PG students from: Medical & Dental Sciences, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy & Allied Health Sciences, Public Health, Nursing & Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Clinical Trial & Data Science.
