Research Travel Grant (For Young Ayurveda Research Scholars)

In the memory of Padmashri (Late) Prof. R. H. Singh, Lifetime Distinguished Professor & Founder Vice Chancellor of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University, Jodhpur; Institute of Applied Statistics, Kanpur announces the establishment of “Late Padmashri Prof R. H. Singh Research Travel Grant” with aim to facilitate the presentation of research work of young ayurveda research scholars in National and International Conferences with in India w.e.f. 01 April 2025.. 

Nature of the Grant:

📌 The total grant of Rs. 25,000/- is designated for the Research Travel Grant for each financial year, commencing from 01 April 2025.

📌 The selected member will receive a travel grant equal to the actual expenses incurred, or part thereof, in travel and registration fees.

📌 The grant will be disbursed in the form of a cheque/bank transfer upon the production of bills/receipts of actual expenses during the Institute's annual conference, where the awardee must be present.

Eligibility Criteria:

The assistance shall be based on selection of original paper of the Research Scholar submitted and selected by the Scientific Committee of the proposed Conference or Seminar where the Scientific paper is to be presented. Following Terms and Conditions shall be applicable:

📌 The Research Scholar shall not be more than 40 years of age and the research work to be presented shall have to be his/her original work and related to any Specialty of Ayurveda.

📌 He / She shall not be getting any financial assistance from any other agency for his/her Conference Registration as well as travel to and fro to the venue of Conference/Seminar.

📌 He / She shall have to submit his/ Her Research paper accepted for presentation in Conference/Seminar to a jury constituted by Maharshi Charak Ayurveda Research and Development Scheme for approval. Approval by Jury shall only entitle the Scholar for financial assistance.

📌 Financial assistance shall be limited to reimbursement of Conference/Seminar Registration Charges and 2nd AC Train fair to and from to the venue of Conference/Seminar.

📌 Research Scholars who are not in receipt of Research Grants and Stipend shall be given preference.
